No serious injuries were reported at the scene of this unusual boat vs. car collision near the intersection of the Parks and Glenn highways about 6:30 p.m., Aug. 6, according to Central Mat-Su Fire Department Chief James Steele.
The boat apparently detached from its trailer and collided with the car head on, he said. Steele said collisions between boats and cars are relatively rare.
Palmer Ambulance units also responded to the scene.
