WASILLA — The Bismarck Bobcats closed a three-game series against the Alaska Avalanche with a 4-0 win, Tuesday at the Curtis C. Menard II Memorial Ice Arena in Wasilla.
Casey Kleisinger, Ryan Jacobson and Dominic Panetta scored even-strength goals for the Bobcats. Sam Dougherty added an empty-netter for Bismarck.
Alaska goalie Kale Robertson, who stopped 20 shots, was tagged with the loss.
The Avs, who currently sit in second place of the North American Hockey League West Division with an 8-3-1 mark, now have a week off before hosting first-place Wenatchee Oct. 16-17 at the Menard Arena.
