PALMER — After a body was found in the Palmer area Wednesday, the Anchorage Police Department is now investigating a homicide and searching for a vehicle that may be related to the case.
According to APD, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a near close to the Eklutna Power Plant near Palmer and found the body of a deceased male, who has since been identified as 35-year-old David Cargill, of Anchorage. During AST’s initial investigation, troopers, “determined the actual death most likely occurred in the jurisdiction of the Anchorage Police Department, according to an update released by APD.
The APD is asking the public to help locate a 2008 blue Chevy Trailblazer, with Alaska license plate JJR552.
