Bravo to paper for supporting choice of superintendent

To the editor:

Bravo for your editorial support for Superintendent Burnley’s principal choice. If the school board (and the community) expects him to achieve its goals, then we must give him the lieutenants he chooses.

And if anyone in the Mat-Su Borough Assembly chooses to make this recent appointment an issue in the upcoming budget debate, he or she is doing public education and this community’s children a disservice.
