Brian Dean Bohman, 62, of Palmer, Alaska, died in his home on 22 October 2021.
He was the youngest of 5 children, born to K Daryl and Betty Jane (Day) Bohman on 8 July 1959 in Weiser, Idaho. They moved to Palmer in January 1962 and then to Gooding, Idaho in 1975. From 1978-1980, Brian served in the Arcadia, California Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He later attended Ricks College and graduated from Weber State College in 1984.
Brian married GayLynn Robbins of Montana in December 1981 in the Logan, Utah temple. They are the parents of 7 children and have 14 grandchildren. Brian honorably served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1984-2006, living in Georgia, Virginia, and Okinawa, Japan. He retired as a Major to the state he loved, Alaska. For his entire life, he was a dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ who served God’s children.
He is survived by his wife GayLynn (Robbins) Bohman and his children: Benjman [Lauren], Christen [Ian], Daniel [Ashley], Emma, Adam [Ellen], Grace [Aaron], and Hana. He is also survived by his siblings, William [Cam], Richard [Trina], and Barbara [Bill].
