Palmer branch undergoes renovation

A few months from now, customers who regularly visit First National Bank Alaska’s Palmer Branch will do so in remodeled style after an ongoing renovation project is complete.

The renovation of the branch, located at 303 W. Evergreen Ave., includes a new teller line, new counters, carpet and paint. The project will also add 500 square feet to the loan department, three additional offices and a conference room.

Keeping in its tradition of turning to local expertise, the bank hired Palmer’s Wolf Architecture and F-E Contracting Inc. to handle the renovations.

The branch lobby will be closed July 9 and Aug. 6 to allow for the renovations to be finished. The drive-up windows will remain open those days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
