Taylored Restoration shuffles Mat-Su management
• Josh Ickes has been named manager of Taylored Restoration’s Mat-Su construction department. Facing continued growth in the market and Taylored’s corporate belief in promotion from within, Ickes was the choice to help lead Taylored’s Mat-Su branch into the new decade. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and joined Taylored in 2006. He became IICRC-certified in water damage restoration in 2007. Ickes has 18 years of experience in the construction field as a large-loss estimator, focusing primarily on fire restoration, structural repairs and remodels. His new position will bring more responsibility for profitability, policy, planning and staffing, in addition to his estimating duties.
• Sean Ridlon, water mitigation and restoration supervisor, was named to the Leadership Team for the Mat-Su branch. Ridlon joined TRS in 2004. A former resident of the Gulf Coast region, he brought with him construction experience repairing damage caused by the annual hurricane season. He holds IICRC certifications in water, smoke and fire restoration, and an IOT certification for mold remediation. As a member of the Leadership Team, he will assist in the development of TRS Mat-Su through strategic planning, oversight and policy decisions at the branch level.
