• Colony High School graduate Brittany Anderson of Palmer has received one of six, $1,500 Lynden Memorial Scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year. She is a sophomore studying chemistry and biology at Regis University in Denver, Colo. Anderson is an urban farming volunteer, is in the chemistry club, and enjoys skiing, gardening and hiking. She is the daughter of Joseph and Jennifer Anderson and her father works for Lynden Air Cargo in Anchorage.
