Burchell says thanks

To the editor:

Burchell High school would like to take this opportunity to thank our neighbors for their support that allowed our Close-up Club to go to Washington, D.C., this year.

Those neighbors are: Matanuska Towing and Recovery, Wasilla CARRS/Safeway, Holiday Alaska, Three Bears, The Smoke shop, Spenard Builders Supply and Wasilla Bible Church.

Each of these neighbors allowed us to place money jugs on their counters and collect change for the Close-up Club’s trip to D.C.

Burchell High staff and students sincerely thank each and every one of our Mat-Su Valley neighbors for their continued support of Burchell. In a time when money is hard to come by, and even harder to keep, these special neighbors opened their hearts and wallets to this important educational experience.
