WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers are looking for a hungry shoplifter. Actually, scratch that. The shoplifter is probably not hungry anymore.
According to a trooper press statement, shortly after midnight Monday morning troopers were summoned to the Holiday gas station at Mile 49 Parks Highway.
“An unknown subject ate four hamburgers in the store and left without paying,” according to the report.
Troopers peg the cost of the burgers at $6.38. Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 745-2131 or, to remain anonymous, Mat-Su Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
