Burglary leaves $100,000 in damage

TALKEETNA — Alaska State Troopers say burglars managed to do more than $100,000 damage to a home.

According to a trooper press statement, the 42-year-old homeowner reported the break-in at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday.

“Two or more individuals entered the residence and proceeded to destroy every wall, floor, appliance, electronic device, furniture and ATV at the scene,” the press release states.

Troopers ask anyone with information about the crime to call them at 733-2257.
