To the editor:
I am writing to voice my concern about the bus system in our schools.
My 5-year-old son who goes to Goose Bay Elementary was placed on the wrong bus today for the second time this year. Not only is this completely unacceptable, it is extremely concerning. My son was dropped off on the side of Knik-Goose Bay Road, one of the worst roads in Wasilla. He was left by himself. If it wasn’t for a wonderful woman who stopped and waited with him, who knows what would have happened?
We are talking about a 5-year-old child, left by himself. What is going on in our schools? I’m not so sure I want my child going anymore if they cannot account for him. I have contacted the school board and I urge you to do the same.
