Are you happy with your job? According to a recent Pew Research Center report, only half of currently employed Americans say they are “very satisfied” with their jobs. If you are a young person worried about your future or anyone wanting to make a change, Mat-Su College Career Development Advisor, William Oliveria wants to help.
The Career Development Office is open to current, former, and prospective students. Oliveria says, “I can help people by giving career guidance/exploration tools, by providing career services such as resume building, job seeking assistance, and mock interviews, and assisting them with their current degree planning.
You can arrange a career advising appointment through the Mat-Su College website or by calling 907-745-9725. Oliveria is looking forward to meeting you and says, “My favorite part of the job is meeting with students and helping them decide what their goals are. Watching them go from being unsure about their future to having a solid plan."
