The 75th-anniversary committee of the Matanuska Valley Colonists would like to thank everyone in the community for helping us celebrate our history all weekend during Colony Days!
A special thank you to MEA, MTA and MVFCU for support above and beyond. Thank you to our guest speakers on Saturday night, which included mayors Talis Colberg, John Combs and Verne Rupright, legislators Bill Stoltze and Carl Gatto, ARRC manager Steve Gallagher, along with our fellow descendant speakers. You were all great!
Palmer Senior Center served everyone wonderful food all weekend at Raven Hall. Again, thank you to everyone who made this a very memorable and special event.
