PALMER — The fifth annual CHAIR-ity Auction event follows the Colony Days Parade Saturday during the community picnic at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 440 E. Elmwood Ave., in Palmer.
Proceeds from the annual auction of artistically decorated chairs benefits the non-profit MY House, 300 Willow St., in Wasilla.
Preview the chairs June 12 at the Gathering Grounds Café, 300 Willow St., in Wasilla and in the Colony Days Parade, which begins at 11 a.m., June 13.
The community picnic follows the parade at St. John Lutheran Church at approximately 1:30 p.m.
