Her children wrote, "Mom, you taught us a lot of things and everything you've given us, we'll always keep it inside. You were the driving force in our lives. There isn't anyone who we could be if we didn't have you by our sides. You were there for us to love and care for us when skies were gray. When we were always down, you were always there to comfort us.
"No one else could be what you have been to us. Mom, you know we love you, and you will always be the queen of our hearts. Your love is like tears from the stars. Mom, we just want you to know loving you is like food to our souls.
"You were always down for us and have always been around for us even when we were bad. You showed us right from wrong. You took up for us when everyone was down on us. You always did understand. You gave us strength to go on. No one else could do what you've done for us. We will never go a day without thinking of you! We love you, Beth, Tami and Brian."
