To the editor:
In April, arthroscopic surgery was required for my knee. Last week, our daughter was treated in the ER for a rather serious injury. The staff, technicians, nurses, and doctors at Mat-Su Regional Hospital were awesome both times. When it was my turn for surgery, I had a deep sense of their care and compassion. The same, calming feelings were there because of how we were treated as we sat beside our daughter in the ER. Despite her pain, I believe that our daughter also was comforted by the way she was treated by the people at the hospital. Thank you to everyone at Mat-Su Regional Hospital. We are so fortunate to have such loving and knowledgeable people working there. It is nice to know you are there for us when we need you. Another reason our family loves to call the Mat-Su Valley home.
