PALMER —Another game against Chugiak-Eagle River, another walk-off win for the Mat-Su Miners.

With the Miners trailing by a run in the bottom of the ninth, infielder Austin Bull singled to drive in a pair of runs and lead Mat-Su to a 6-5 come-from-behind victory over the Chinooks. Preston Pavlica and Elijah MacNamee both scored on the Bull single to help Mat-Su beat the Chinooks with the final at-bat for the third time this season.

Chugiak-Eagle River will finish the season 1-9 against Mat-Su.

The Chinooks had built leads of 4-0 and 5-3 against the Miners, but Mat-Su rallied with three during the final two innings.

Jeremy Johnson led the Chinooks with two hits, two runs and an RBI. Tyler Yoshihara added two hits. Levi Gilcrease and Luke Coffey also scored a run.

Chugiak hosted the Anchorage Glacier Pilots on Tuesday and Wednesday, but results were not available prior to press time. The Chinooks begin a four-game road trip in Kenai against the Peninsula Oilers on Thursday.
