The school, located at Fort Rucker, Ala., is where pilots are trained to fly the various models of helicopters used by the Army. Training includes leadership and survival skills as well as piloting. Upon completion of the 18-month flight school, Moropoulos will be assigned to any one of the many Army units using rotary wing aircraft. Prior to leaving for flight school, he will marry Audrey Adcock, of Ridgecrest, Idaho, in a service at the Officers’ Christian Fellowship Center in Highland Falls, N.Y. Audrey and Chris will then relocate to Alabama. He is the son of John and Joyce Moropoulos of Palmer.
