Christmas dinner seeks volunteers

The annual meeting for the Christmas Friendship Dinner Steering Committee is at 9 a.m., March 12 at the Curtis D. Menard Sports Center in Wasilla.

The purpose of the meeting is to fill five vacancies on the committee and consider any needed changes to the bylaws. The steering committee oversees the organization and implementation of the annual dinner. In addition to the March meeting, the committee meets in August and begins regular meetings in mid-September Saturdays at 9 a.m. at the Menard Sports Center. Steering committee members are expected to commit to attend the group’s meetings year-round.
