This is a letter to a “friend” of my son. You went to a Christmas party at his house and left with my autographed copy of Sarah Palin’s book that was sitting on his shelf waiting to be mailed back to me.
His Christmas present to me was standing in that line and getting the book autographed so I could send it on to a friend as a Christmas present to him. Your decision to help yourself to something not yours ruined two Christmas gifts. I do hope the book means as much to you as it did to us. It disappoints us both to know one of his friends would do this.
