HOMER — Sophomore Greta Jenkins posted a pair of ninth-place finishes to lead the Colony Knights to a runner-up finish in the girls’ team standings of the Region III Championships last weekend in Homer.
Jenkins finished ninth in the classic race on Friday, and posted another ninth-place finish in the 5-kilometer skate Saturday. Jenkins clocked a time of 19 minutes and 15 seconds in the classic, and a mark of 17:37 in the skate.
