Antonio Bush, a standout multi-sport athlete at Colony High School, has been invited to play for an elite basketball team this summer. Participation on the team includes traveling to Texas and Las Vegas to play in two of the most recognized tournaments in the DI Nation basketball program. Bush is trying to raise the $3,000 needed to cover the costs of airfare, room and board, tournament fees and uniforms.
“I will be wearing a hoodie while I travel with all of the sponsors who donated $100 or more on the back of my hoodie as a way to say thank you for your generous contribution and for making my dreams a reality to travel with this elite team,” Bush says in a letter about the opportunity.
Bush is an incoming senior at Colony and was a 2013 Region III first-team All-Region and first-team All-Conference selection.
Contributions can be sent payable to Alaska Hoops Inc., 407 S. Vix Way, Wasilla, AK 99654, and write “for Antonio Bush” in the subject line.
