Recently my husband and I were in Alaska and we drove to Palmer for the day. I am writing because we had a wonderful day in the area and found the people so friendly and helpful.
We went to the Valley Hotel and Coffee Shop for lunch. We had a great meal and the staff was wonderful. Some young men were working on the pavement and gave us directions. We had quite a talk with them. Also, the staff at the Information Center was a wonderful help and so friendly.
We enjoyed our day in Palmer and the surrounding area and would like to thank all the people who made us feel welcome. You have a lovely community.
