BUTTE — After 62 years in business, Del Rois Bar and Liquor is closing.
The last day for the bar is planned for Oct. 13.
“We hope you all come in and share your stories and memories with us,” read a notice on the bar’s Facebook page.
One of the last events is a fundraiser for a Knik River Road-area couple trying to cope with a host of very serious medical problems scheduled for Oct. 6.
According to the Facebook post, the bar on the Old Glenn Highway first opened its doors in 1951.
