PALMER — The Mat-Su Ski Club hosted its first Race to the Outhouse event of the winter at Independence Mine in Hatcher Pass Saturday.
Cody Priest notched a win in the men’s 5-kilometer skate, posting a time of 12 minutes and 9 seconds. Tracie Haan won the women’s 5K skate at 18:09. Jacob Volz and Taryn Hunt-Smith won the classic events.
