The Colony Knights used a quick start and a strong second half to get past rival Palmer 60-41 in boys basketball action Tuesday night at Colony High.
Colony opened the game with an 18-8 first-quarter run and scored 28 in the final two quarters.
Jackson Ainsworth led Colony with a game-high 20. Ainsworth scored nine of Colony’s 18 in the first. Charlie Gardner added 10.
Lukas Owen led Palmer with 17. Nolan Garner added 12.
The Colony girls raced to a 74-17 win over the Moose.
Taylor Passard led Colony with 20 points. Morgan Ainsworth chipped in 14. Emily DeHart added 12.
Payten Baker led Palmer with six.
