After winning three straight on the road, the Colony boys earned 28 total points and moved up to the third spot in the latest Alaska Sportswriters State Basketball Poll.
The 6-5 Knights now trail just first-place West Anchorage and second-place West Valley.
Colony swept a trio of Fairbanks-area schools on a three-day trips to the Interior last week. The Knights opened with a victory over second-ranked West Valley and added wins against North Pole and Lathrop.
Colony's only loss in the last seven games came to Wasilla on Jan. 18. The Wasilla boys (3-8) and Palmer boys (4-5) did not receive any votes in the poll.
Wasilla was the only 4A girls squad from the Valley to receive any votes in the poll. After splitting a two-game series in Fairbanks last weekened, the Warriors earned just four points in the latest poll.
Palmer (3-6) and Colony (4-8) did not receive votes.
