The 27th Annual Colony Christmas celebration continues today for the final day of festivities, starting with the Palmer Winter Triathlon race registration from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Palmer Pool, with the race starting at 11 a.m. The Alaska Celtic Pipes & Drum performs at the Palmer Public Library at 2 p.m., and the Palmer Moose Lodge hosts the Pioneer Hockey Steak Feed from 2 – 8 p.m. For a lovely Christmas concert, check out the Mat-Su Community Chorus, at St. John Lutheran Church. The Bright Up the Night Light Display at the Alaska State Fairgrounds opens at 4 p.m. and runs through 9 p.m. And the final event of the festival, sponsored by the City of Palmer, is the Colony Christmas Free Public Skate, at MTA Events Center from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
