PALMER — Junior Jamie Krediet scored a pair of goals to lead Colony to a 4-0 win over the Palmer Moose at Palmer High School on Monday.
Colony head coach Lorie Miner said she was particularly impressed with the play of her team during the final 40 minutes.
“In the second half we just looked phenomenal,” Miner said. “More in line with what we’ve been asking the girls to do, (how) we’ve been wanting to see them play.”
Katie Gonski and Krystal Heimerl also scored for CHS. Meghan Riopelle earned the shutout in the Knight net.
Grizzlies edge Moose
ANCHORAGE — An early goal sparked Grace Christian during a 2-1 win over Palmer on Tuesday at Anchorage Football Stadium.
Catherine Ekstrom scored during the second minute to help Grace grab the Northern Lights Conference win. Grace Wheeles also scored for Grace.
Freshman Miracle Burton converted a penalty kick to put the Moose on the scoreboard.

ANCHORAGE — Grace Christian edged Palmer 2-1 at Anchorage Football Stadium on Tuesday.
Knights cruise past Moose
PALMER — Senior Jonas Madsen scored twice to lead Colony to a 7-1 win over Palmer at Palmer High School on Monday.
Logan Smith, James Meaney, Oliver Querin, Aaron Richards and Jesse Rouse also scored for the Knights.
Querin led Colony with three assists.
Warriors shut out Houston
WASILLA — Senior Jake Barber scored four goals to lead Wasilla to a 12-0 win over Houston at Wasilla High School on Tuesday.
Dustin Hout, Kyle Welton and Kyler Perry posted two goals each. Cameron Perry and Kevin Hogan also scored.
Eli Tingstad earned the shutout in the Wasilla net.
Colony boys 7, Homer 0
HOMER — The Knights notched a conference victory in Homer on Thursday. The Colony girls also topped the Mariners.
