The Colony Knights girls wrestling team capped the regular season with a tourney title.
Colony finished first in the girls team standings during the Grace Grizzly Shakedown wrestling tournament Saturday at Grace Christian School in Anchorage.
Colony crowned three individual champions. Grace Loutzenhiser (100 pounds), Amelia Fawcett (145) and Aspen Kelly (152) each won their weight class. Sophie Ellibee (114) finished second for the Knights. Tayla Larsen (120), Graycen Miller (138) and Gia Jones (165) placed third.
Noelle Buck led the Palmer girls with a title at 235. Lillie Vansiegman (138) and Kaylee Paulson (152) placed second for the Moose.
Josephine Granger led Redington with a third-place finish at 145 pounds.
Colony also finished third in the boys standings at the Grace tourney.
Noah Justice (103), Matthew Mitchell (135) and Luke Roderick (160) won their weight class for the Knights. Brenden Rhodes (160) was second, and Laramie Gibson (145) placed third.
Palmer finished fourth in the boys team standings.
Kalelan Vesel was first at 189. Cody Vansiegman (145) and Carter Paulson (189) finished second, and Kael Salisbury-Gum (125) and Ezra Ginn (160) were third for the Moose.
Wasilla finished second in the team standings at the John Tobin Invitational in North Pole.
Achilles Alexander (119), Joseph Spangler (130), Thailyn Reynolds (140), Eugene Obukhovskiy (145) and Kaleb Boothby (152) all finished first for the Warriors. Peyton Wright (125), Victor Fonev (140), Max Moat (160) and James Lackey (215) were second.
