Colony defeated Pasadena High 54-34 at the Best of the West Holiday Tourney in Chino Hills, Calif. on Saturday.
Allie Grazulis led the Knights with 18 points, while Kara Larson added 12 and Alex Coon 10.
The win was Colony’s first of the tournament. The Knights lost three tough games in the first three days, including a 47-43 decision Friday to Notre Dame High. Grazulis led Colony with 14 points Friday.
Wasilla falls in Juneau
The Wasilla boys dropped their first two games at the Capitol City Classic in Juneau, falling 49-40 to Tahoma, Wash. on Thursday and losing 70-63 to host Juneau on Friday night.
Wasilla led Tahoma at the half before faltering down the stretch. Tyler Johannes led the Warriors with 13 points against Tahoma, while Dexter Pearce added 10.
