SOLDOTNA — The Colony girls cross country running squad captured a region title at the Region III Championships in Soldotna on Saturday.
Wasilla also finished in the top four of the girls' team standings and will be running in the state championships next week at Palmer High School.
The Colony boys finished second in the team standings and are also going to state. Palmer junior Wylie Mangelsdorf finished fourth in the boys' race to lead the Moose.
