The Colony-Palmer flag football team celebrated senior night with a 20-0 win over West Valley Friday night at Colony High School.
Colony-Palmer quarterback Hayden Vanderpool threw a touchdown pass and ran for another during the win. Vanderpool connected with Denali Anderson-Berghoff on a score to give their team the lead. Anderson-Berghoff also ran for a score in the victory.
Co-head coach Dustin Wilson noted Maya Sandefur, Audrie Cook and Harriette Cost as the blockers of the game, and Megan Alley as the rusher of the game.
Tonya Karpow and Ava Chud both had interceptions for the defense, Alley led the team with four sacks. Mayla Unfreid added three sacks, and Anderson-Berghoff also had a sack.
The team features players from Colony, Palmer, Mat-Su Central and Mat-Su Career and Technical.
