The Colony Knights finished second in the Railbelt Conference Championships.
West Valley earned the title with a 19-10 win over the Knights in the championship game, Friday at Wasilla High School.
The Knights took a 6-4 lead early, but the Wolfpack scored 15 total runs in the second and third innings.
Amelia Hoch and Bonnie Schmidt drove in two runs each for the Knights in the loss. Kaidence Browning and Alexis Congdon scored two runs each.
Colony finished 2-2 in the tourney. Both losses came to West Valley. The Wolfpack also beat the Knights 7-4 in the second round.
Colony opened with an 11-0 win over Wasilla in the first round. Alli Morrisey was 3 for 3, with three RBI and two runs scored. Macie Schoon had two runs and two RBI. Browning pitched a two-hit shutout.
Colony also stayed alive with an 11-5 win over Lathrop in an elimination game. Browning had three hits and two runs. Congdon and Hoch also scored twice.
Wasilla was 0-2 in the tournament.
Avery Cook and Rylee Pitney had hits against Colony.
Lathrop edged Wasilla 6-4 in an elimination game. The Malemutes trailed 4-2 late, but rallied with four unanswered runs. Lindsey Jensen had two hits, two runs and two RBI. Ava Holland added two hits and two RBI.
The Palmer Moose fell one game short of a spot in the Northern Lights Conference championship game.
Top-seeded Kodiak blanked the Moose 8-0 in an elimination game in the double-elimination bracket. The Bears moved forward, and beat Soldotna to win the NLC title.
Palmer finished 3-2 overall in the tourney. The Moose opened with a 12-4 win over Valley rival Redington in the first round. Soldotna edged Palmer 8-7 in the second round, but the Moose bounced back with wins over Kenai 16-14 and Homer 12-10.
Palmer was third overall in the tournament.
Aurelia Zimin led Palmer with three hits and two runs against Homer. Camryn Frank scored three times.
Laekyn Leroux drove in four and scored twice against Kenai. Zimin had three hits and three RBI. Seven Palmer players scored two runs each.
Ariana Belk had three RBI against Redington.
Redington finished 1-2 in the tournament. The Huskies suffered losses to Palmer and Homer.
Redington beat rival Houston 16-5. The Huskies opened with a dozen runs in the first. Jennah Beard was 3 for 4, with three runs and four RBI for Redington. Rylee Daw drove in three runs and Emily Wilmoth scored three times.
Houston was 0-2 in the tourney.
