PALMER — The Colony Knights bounced back from a loss in the first game to score a 3-1 (17-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-12) nonconference win over the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears at Colony High School on Thursday.
Colony seniors Kara Larson and Allie Grazulis combined for 29 kills in the win. Larson posted a match-high 17, while Grazulis added 12.
Sierra Hodgson led the Knights with 18 digs, while Jackie Hamann chipped in 17.
Palmer 3, Ketchikan 1
PALMER — The Palmer Moose earned a 3-1 (25-18, 25-27. 25-19, 25-10) nonconference win over the Ketchikan Kings on Thursday at Palmer High School.
Senior Mikaela Bolling led the Moose with nine kills and 10 digs in the win. Brittany Arlow also collected 10 digs.
Colony 3, Houston 0
HOUSTON — On Tuesday, the Knights scored a 3-0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-9) win over the Houston Hawks.
Grazulis led the Knights with 19 digs and four aces, while Hamann collected 27 digs and four aces.
Houston was without a pair of starters, Ariel Katzenberger and Kelsey Thamm.
Wasilla 3, Palmer 2
WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors posted a 3-2 (25-22, 10-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-6) win over the Palmer Moose at Wasilla High School on Tuesday.
Senior co-captain recorded 12 kills, 18 digs, six blocks and three aces in the win. Sophomore Aryn Crane recorded 10 kills and 14 digs for the Warriors.
Wasilla and Palmer both compete in the West Spiketacular at West Anchorage High School this weekend.
