WASILLA — A record-breaking effort was among wins for Colony High during the Kenai Invitational swimming and diving meet last week in Kenai.

Vig also helped the Colony girls win the 200 medley relay, teaming with Camille Dayton, Samanthan Belliston and Sarah Crosley to clock a time of 2:02.54.
Dayton also won a pair of individual races, scoring first-place finishes in both the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly. Alexis Mattson was first in the 500 freestyle for the Colony girls.
Jake Simmons was part of three victories to lead the Colony boys. Simmons finished first in both the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly. Simmons also teamed with Cameron Gossett, Orion Mannherz-Karina and Ryan Chastain to finish first in the 200 freestyle relay.
Tanner Belliston also won the boys’ diving event for the Knights.
