Community meetings set this week

BIG LAKE — A pair of community meetings are scheduled this week at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 14159 W. Hollywood Rd.

• The first is an informational meeting about the Community Impact Study for Big from 7 to 9 p.m., Oct. 23. At the meeting, people can learn what routes have been studied in the past, plus you will have a chance to participate in smaller group breakout sessions, so your voice can be heard. • Secondly, Mat-Su Trails and Parks Foundation has planned a community meeting at 3 p.m., Oct. 27 to gather information to help create an integrated trail system in the Mat-Su Borough and to prioritize trail projects.
