Applications are available for a seat at the 2012 Conference of Young Alaskans. The three-day event is hosted by the Institute of the North and connects individuals from around the state to discuss Alaska’s rich history, vibrant present and thriving future.
This year’s conference is Jan. 4-7 in Juneau’s Centennial Hall and open to Alaskans ages 16-25. The 55-member conference is modeled after the original Alaska Constitutional Convention of 1955.
The deadline to apply is Oct. 16. Applications are available online at youngalaskans.org.
