Long Distance Runner
I started on the first day with the intention to lose 26 pounds. That would be 12% of my body weight.
It has not always been easy and there were more times than I can count that I walked by the kitchen of our home and longed for some type of sweet snacks. I even succumbed a few times and grabbed a small bowl of ice cream or another item that, if I was totally focused, I would not have had. But darn they tasted good. Knowing that this was not a sprint, but a three month marathon helped though.
I am pleased to say that with slightly over 3 weeks to go, I am right on track to finish the race strong and on target. I can see the light at the end of this tunnel and hope that all of you can as well. Give it the extra push for the duration and it will reward you with better health and a better feeling about yourself that you CAN accomplish anything that you put your mind to. And maybe, just maybe, a few extra dollars in your bank account.
Keep plugging.
