Cons. semis: Juneau boys 55, Palmer 40 FINAL

ANCHORAGE — The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears scored a 51-40 lead over the Palmer Moose, during consolation semifinal action of the ASAA First National Bank 4A State Basketball Championships at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, Friday morning.

Palmer junior Bryce Jacobson led the Moose with 17 points, and had all of 14 of Palmer's points until Gabe Gatto scored in the final minute of the half.

Juneau, the Southeast Conference champ, now moves on to face Dimond in the tourney's fourth-place game Saturday at 2 p.m. at UAA. Palmer is eliminated from tourney play.
