I recently took a cooking class at the Mat-Su Regional Hospital sponsored by The Cancer Project and taught by Delisa Renideo. It was fantastic!
This was not my first time to take this series of classes. I have re-enrolled several times as I accompanied neighbors, family and friends. Each time I learned something new and enjoyed it even more.
The nutritional information offered is much broader than the title implies. Yes, the information is instrumental for the well-being of cancer patients but also for those dealing with other issues or those just trying to maintain good health.
Dramatic results have been reported by those who no longer need insulin, heart and high blood pressure medication. Oh, and don’t be surprised if you lose a few of those unwanted pounds during the seven-week series.
Nutritional information is offered in an easy-to-understand manner. Cooking demos are presented in an enjoyable and interactive format. Oh, and did I mention that the class gets to taste test the delicious food prepared weekly?
Bottom line, it’s fun and life changing, making it easy to make good food choices to maintain health wellness. To reserve your space go to delisa@yestolife.info or call 373-1526.
