Could have used the Frontiersman 100 years ago

To the editor:

The Mat-Su Borough allows companies to slap up towers right and left in people’s yards because they want to be “business friendly,” not caring how their actions will affect the residents nearby.

It reminds me of 100 years ago when the federal government decided to plow through my ancestors’ traditional territory with railroad tracks and trains, building a foreign townsite and not giving a rip about what the original occupants had to say.

Makes me wish they had the Frontiersman 100 years ago and that my ancestors knew how to write this crazy English language so their story could have been told on the front page.

Damn greedy governments. Thanks to the assembly members who stood up for the people on this issue.
