I’m really liking the new Weight Watchers points system. They changed things quite a lot, so there is a big learning curve, but it’s all pretty easy with their online tools. So far it seems like now everyone gets a few more points per day, but most foods also have a point or two more than they used to. I’m not a big fruit lover, but I guess it’s big news that most fruits have zero points in the new system.

According to the Weight Watchers website we have two meetings each week in Wasilla now. One is on Tuesdays at 6 pm, and the other is on Saturdays at 8:30 am. Both are at the Wasilla Senior Center. I plan to go this Saturday. Slow and steady…losing one pound a week adds up to 52 pounds a year – that motivates me!
