Country singer-songwriter Nate Smith will take the stage at the Alaska State Fair as part of the 2026 ConocoPhillips Alaska Concert Series, performing Saturday, August 29, at 7 p.m. at the Borealis Theatre. Alaska State Fair member and artist presale tickets are on sale now; tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. AKST.

In just a few years, Smith has quickly become one of country music’s most recognizable new voices, amassing more than 2 billion career streams, earning three multi-week #1 songs, receiving multiple gold and platinum certifications, and playing sold-out shows across the United States. Called “perhaps country music’s fastest-rising beloved voice,” his recent honors include ACM New Male Artist of the Year, Billboard’s Rookie of the Year and Amazon’s Breakthrough Country Artist for 2024.

Based in Nashville, Smith broke through with his self-titled debut album, which featured the two-time platinum, multi-week #1 hit “Whiskey on You” and the platinum-certified “World on Fire,” which spent a record-breaking 10 weeks at #1. His platinum-certified single “Bulletproof” appears on his 2024 sophomore album, California Gold, which debuted in the Top 15 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart.

Fans can choose between concert-only tickets or tickets including Fair admission (discounted and valid only for the day of the concert). Tickets that include Fair admission must be purchased by Thursday, August 20. Detailed ticket options and pricing are available at alaskastatefair.org. Convenience fees apply to all online ticket purchases.

Smith is the eighth act announced to date in the 2026 ConocoPhillips Alaska Concert Series lineup, joining indie pop trio AJR on August 21, thrash metal masters MEGADETH on August 22, alt-rockers CAKE on August 27, indie rockers Modest Mouse on August 28, genre-bending hip-hop artist BigXThaPlug on August 30, folk/country singer-songwriter Max McNown on September 3, and heavy metal icons Twisted Sister on September 4.
