Craft fair calendar

This weekend holiday shoppers can relax, but not for long - while there aren't any craft fairs on the schedule now, every weekend from now through Christmas is completely packed with them. Make your plan early, and get to as many as you can:

Oct. 21

St. Christopher Craft Bazaar - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Willow. Handmade items for the holidays.

The Salvation Army Holiday Bazaar - Oct. 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Salvation Army Corps Building in Palmer, next to City Hall on Evergreen street. Lunch is available. Call 746-4459 for more information.

Oct. 28-29

Alaska State Fair Holiday Bazaar - 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at the fairgrounds. More than 120 vendors will be on hand, with lots of items. Admission is $1. Call 746-7168 or visit www.alaskastatefair.org.
