Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Craig was a young man (27) with a big heart. He was very Loving and Caring. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska lived there for 11 years, then moved with his family to Wasilla. Craig loved working out, playing football & Minnesota Vikings, dirt biking, four wheeling, snow machining, video gaming, cooking, and spending time with family around a late night bonfires. He worked with his Dad in helping build their house and fixing what needed to be fixed when needed. Craig also worked in the construction field, framing, drywall and painting. Craig had a passion for dogs. He took care and trained the dogs they have. Craig's best friend was Shadow his 12-year-old black lab, he nicknamed him goof. Craig was always there for family when you needed him and protective of them. He enjoyed cooking for the family making huge meals for you when you returned from out town. Craig would do what he could to cheer you up. It was really easy to talk to him. Craig survived the passing of his Mother Vivian Jean Tomlinson in 2013, and his Brother Brandon James Tomlinson in 2014.
Craig is survived by his Dad Timothy James Tomlinson, Sisters, Sabrina Tomlinson, Angela Kiernan, Jake & Christine Pfeiffer, Nephew's Dustin Kiernan, Nathan Drury, Cory and Riley Pfeiffer, Niece's Katelin Shawback & Selena Quinn, who all grew up together. Dustin and Craig were partners in crime. He is also survived by Bill Kiernan who has watched Craig grow from a cute baby he was to the handsome young man came to be. Craig also was close to his Uncle Earl and Shannon Craig, and many cousins.
Our home will never be the same without his jokes, Love and laughter.

God has a plan for everyone; we always have to have faith in our Lord and Savior.
Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home, 151 E. Herring Ave. Wasilla, Alaska. Thursday March 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
