Knik-Goose Bay Road is closed in both directions at Fairview Loop following a Monday evening collision. Rescue personnel were working at 8:15 p.m. to transport a woman trapped in a Ford Explorer.
The woman is being loaded into a Lifeflight helicopter after being extricated from the Explorer after it collided with a Ford truck pulling a horse trailer. Two horses inside the trailer were not injured when the truck rolled into a ditch along the road.
