Three “Dairy Day” classes will be offered Feb. 16 at the Cooperative Extension Service, 809 S. Chugach St., Suite No. 2, Palmer. Cost is $25 for all three classes or $10 per class. Preregistration is required.

Classes offered are:
• 10 a.m. to noon, Yogurt — Three to four servings of milk products helps us get the calcium we need. Yogurt is a great source of calcium. In this hands-on class, learn to make yogurt.
• 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Queso Fresco — This Latin American “fresh cheese” is traditionally made from cow’s milk, or a combination of cow and goat milk. Its salty/sour taste is a complement to enchiladas, salad or grilled vegetables. This hands-on class will make queso fresco with pasteurized milk.
• 3 to 5 p.m., Mozzarella — Homemade fresh mozzarella has fabulous flavor. Learn techniques for making this fresh cheese in this hands-on class.
