The Alaska State Fair announced another act for the 2025 concert series Wednesday as comedian David Spade will be appearing at the venue at 3 p.m. on Sept. 1.
This marks his first appearance in Alaska.
Spade’s appearance is part of the 2025 ConocoPhillips Alaska Concert Series, which also includes Wiz Khalifa, Foreigner, Dwight Yoakum, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, the Beach Boys, and “Weird Al” Yankovic as part of its lineup.
Spade launched his career as a cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, quickly becoming a household favorite alongside players like Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and the late Chris Farley. He quickly established himself as a familiar face on screens big and small, known most for his self-deprecating and sarcastic style.
He went on to star in movies like ‘Joe Dirt,’ ‘Grown Ups’ ‘Tommy Boy,’ and TV fans remember him in ‘Just Shoot Me,’ ‘Rules of Engagement,’ and ‘8 Simple Rules.’
Tickets went on sale Wednesday, according to a press release, and attendees can select from lawn and reserved seating tickets. The fair runs from Aug 15 to Sep 1, 2025.
